HS Butyl 0303 is a general-purpose butyl tape used for sealing applications. It is suitable for sealing lap joints in roofing and cladding systems, duct flanges in HVAC systems, compression joints and seams, and caravans, offering excellent adhesion to multiple substrates. The tape is conformable, easy to use, and designed as a ready-to-use product for various sealing needs.

KALAR® 5281 is a partially cross-linked butyl rubber compound pelletized for easy handling. This product is modified with ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer to improve lower temperature toughness and higher temperature processing. KALAR® products feature all the performance attributes expected of butyl rubber. KALAR® 5281 is light amber to yellow in color and is among the tightest cross-linked butyl rubbers of the KALAR® products. It is designed as the starting point for applications that require the maximum resistance to creep and slump.

KALAR® 5280 is a partially cross-linked butyl rubber compound pelletized for easy handling. KALAR® products feature all the performance attributes expected of butyl rubber. KALAR® 5280 is amber in color and is among the tightest cross-linked butyl rubbers of the KALAR® products. It is designed as the starting point for applications that require the maximum resistance to creep and slump. KALAR® 5280 provides the most resistance to flow at high temperatures.

KALAR® 5263 is a partially cross-linked butyl rubber compound pelletized for easy handling. KALAR® products feature all the performance attributes expected of butyl rubber. KALAR® 5263 is amber in color and is a more tightly cross-linked butyl rubber than KALAR® 5215. It is designed as the starting point product for butyl sealants that require higher modulus and/or superior durability at elevated temperatures.

KALENE® 800 is a low-molecular-weight liquid polymer derived by the depolymerization of butyl rubber. It vulcanizes at either ambient or elevated temperatures with the standard curatives for butyl rubber. KALENE® 800 is light gray and contains no solvents or additives. KALENE® 800 has the lower viscosity of the two KALENE® grades available and is the preferred liquid butyl rubber for coating applications. KALENE® 800 provides gas impermeability, chemical resistance, moisture resistance, good electrical properties, and excellent vibration/sound damping qualities.

KALAR® 5215 is a partially cross-linked butyl rubber compound pelletized for easy handling. KALAR® products feature all the performance attributes expected of butyl rubber. KALAR® 5215 is off-white in color and is a moderately cross-linked butyl rubber, providing an excellent butyl intermediate base for general-purpose sealants and tapes.

KALAR® 5265 is amber in color and is a more tightly cross-linked butyl rubber than KALAR® 5215. KALENE® 1300 is a low-molecular-weight liquid polymer derived by the depolymerization of butyl rubber. It vulcanizes at either ambient or elevated temperatures with the standard curatives for butyl rubber. KALENE® 1300 is light gray and contains no solvents or additives. KALENE® 1300 has the higher viscosity of the two KALENE® grades available and is the ideal choice for applications requiring the maximum retention of physical properties at the expense of a maximum reduction in viscosity. KALENE® 1300 is the preferred liquid butyl rubber for adhesive applications and a reactive additive to ordinary butyl rubber. KALENE® 1300 provides gas impermeability, chemical resistance, moisture resistance, good electrical properties, and excellent vibration and sound damping qualities.
