Guidelines for Use

Preparation:

  • Use in a well Ventilated Area.
  • Shake well before use.
  • Surfaces should be clean, dry and free from grease.

Application:

  • Hold the aerosol at approximately 70° to the surface. Spray adhesive from 6-8 inches away onto one or both surfaces.
  • Apply adhesive in 4-6 inch bands overlapping each band by roughly 50%, with a double coat applied to the edges. Move at a steady pace that provides an even coat of adhesive without allowing any material to puddle. For most applications, 80-100% adhesive coverage is required for full bond strength. On porous materials, a second coat of adhesive may be necessary.
  • For one-way application, let adhesive dry for 30 seconds until tacky, and then press into position.
  • For two-way application, spray both surfaces and allow to dry for 2-5 minutes before bonding.
  • For temporary bonding, spray one surface and allow to dry for 2-5 minutes before bonding.
  • After use, invert the can and spray to clear any adhesive from the valve/button.
