Guidelines for Use

Preparation:(500ml)

  • Use in a well Ventilated Area.
  • Surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry and dust free.
  • Shake aerosol before use.

Application:

  • Hold the aerosol at approximately 70° to the surface.
  • Apply adhesive to both substrates in 4-6 inch bands overlapping each band by roughly 50%, with a double coat applied to the edges. Move at a steady pace that provides an even coat of adhesive without allowing any material to puddle. Spray one surface vertically the other horizontally. For most applications, 80-100% adhesive coverage is required for full bond strength. On porous materials, a second coat of adhesive may be necessary.
  • Allow the solvents to evaporate from the adhesive (2-5 minutes depending on ambient temperature). To know when the adhesive is ready to bond, it should not transfer to a gloved hand when touched and should feel dry. Bonding the substrates before the solvents have
  • been allowed to evaporate can cause solvent entrapment resulting in bond failures.
  • Bring the two substrates together and apply a uniform pressure over the work piece, starting in the middle and working outwards. Pay particular attention to the edges.
  • After use, invert the can and spray to clear any adhesive from the valve/button.
