Guidelines for Use

Preparation:(5L)
Surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry and free from dust or other contaminants.
Application:

  • Pour the adhesive directly onto the surfaces to be bonded and spread out using a suitable tool.
  • The adhesive should be spread to allow 80%-100% coverage of both surfaces with a dry coat weight of 25g/m2.
  • Allow the solvents to evaporate from the adhesive (10-25 minutes depending on ambient temperature). To know when the adhesive is ready to bond, it should not transfer to a gloved hand when touched and should feel dry. Bonding the substrates before the solvents have been allowed to evaporate can cause solvent entrapment resulting in bond failures.
  • Bring the two surfaces together and apply pressure evenly across the surface.
