Applications
  • swift®col 2411 is suitable for bonding rubber, foamed plastics, textile, microcelular rubber, metal foil, insulation material, etc., to primed and lacquered sheet, metal, wood fiber board.
  • Especially suitable for applications in Automotive Industry, i.e. bonding of preformed headliners, and on the whole, when high heat resistance is required.
  • Due to its formulation, swift®col 2411 performs good adhesion on materials with low surface tension, such as EPDM, PP, etc. Preliminary tests are necessary on each particular application.
Instructions for Use
  • Bonding process: Two way contact, heat activation also possible
  • Coating weight: Approx. 120 g/m² wet, varies on the substrates
  • Drying time: approx. 2 minutes at 20°C
  • Open time: approx. 25 minutes, depends on the substrate

swift col 2411 is applied by spray means to both surfaces. After drying time, they are joined and pressured, bonding by contact. The drying time could be shortened by means of hot air, not exceeding of 40°C. The heat-activation is also possible 2 hours later of being applied. In this case the temperature of the adhesive film has to reach 75 - 80°C
