Product Characteristics

Sesame® Tape CT6s98 is placed between the medium and the outside liner of corrugated cardboard during the manufacturing process. Is a high- quality product and gives good performance, where reinforcement is required. The tape sticks tightly and fast, as the adhesive is activated by the process temperature at the corrugator. The adhesive is supplied with automatic splicing system, which enables continuous running of production without stops.

Storage & Handling

Storage Conditions

Product needs to be stored in a dry place. Before use the tape temperature must be between 15 – 35°C at least for 24 hours. The adhesive might turn brittle if the tape is too cool. Tapes can stick to each other if temperature is too high. Shelf life for properly stored product is 2 years.

Storage Information
  • If tape is stored below 60°F (16°C) or above 90°F (32°C), you must recondition tape at room temperature for a minimum of 24 hours prior to use.
  • Application equipment beyond our control can reduce the length applied. Variables such as temperature, dwell time, tension and the nature of the synthetic materials used can cause this product to shrink.
