Millennium PG-1 EF ECO2

1 of 43 products in this brand
Millennium PG-1 EF ECO2 is a two-component, low-rise, solvent-free polyurethane foamable adhesive that contains no high Global Warming Potential (GWP) blowing agents. Instead, it uses naturally found atmospheric gases as blowing agents, eliminating the need for chemical alternatives such as HFCs and HFOs, and reducing its environmental footprint. With quick and easy application, the adhesive sets in minutes, providing significant labor savings for contractors. Packaged in dual pressurized canisters and dispensed through a disposable adhesive applicator with twenty-five-foot hoses, this patented product eliminates the need for additional equipment.

Basic Use
  • Millennium PG-1 EF ECO2 is designed for use as an adhesive for bonding approved roof insulation to a building’s structural roof deck, base sheets, other insulation board stock, and smooth or gravel built-up asphaltic roof surfaces. Additionally, it is suitable for fleeceback membrane attachment using ribbon or spatter application methods.
  • The product is dispensed in 1” – 1.5” (2.5 cm – 3.8 cm) wide beads or in a spatter application using our proprietary dual-purpose static mixer. Millennium PG-1 EF ECO2 expands to fill minor surface irregularities, ensuring consistent adhesion and a smooth application experience.
Surface Preparation
  • All work surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of dirt, dust, debris, oils, loose and/ or embedded gravel, unadhered coatings, deteriorated membranes, and other contaminants that could compromise adhesion or create an uneven surface.
  • For recovery applications over gravel-surfaced built-up roofs (BUR), apply Millennium Universal Primer prior to the application of Millennium PG-1 EF ECO₂. For applications over fresh and/or non-oxidized asphalt, coal tar, or plastic film membranes, Millennium Surface Treatment may be required before applying Millennium PG-1 EF ECO₂.
Product Limitations
  • Do not apply to wet surfaces.
  • Not recommended for use with insulation boards larger than 4' x 4' (1.2 m x 1.2 m).
  • Avoid using warped or curled insulation boards; all insulation boards must lay flat on the roof surface.
  • Do not apply when temperatures are below 40°F (4°C).
