Cleaner for Tools - Helmitin® 676/2

Preparation Information

Before use stir the adhesive well. The surfaces to be bonded must be dry, clean, free of grease and free of dust to ensure a reliable bonding. Possibly the use of mechanical or chemical pretreatment is necessary.

Surface Requirements - Dry, Clean, Free of grease and Free of dust

Processing Information

Apply adhesive evenly with a suitable application method on the two parts to be bonded. After the recommended waiting time (flash-off time) put the parts accurately together and press. The waiting time depends on the ambient temperature, thickness of the adhesive film and absorbency of the surfaces. The surfaces to be bonded should be placed together when the adhesive film is still slightly sticky but does not stick to the finger when it is pressed lightly. The parts have to be bonded together at least within the open time.

Suitable Substrates - Bitumen, Various aluminum alloys, Various steel alloys, EPDM, Butyl, Glass, Concrete, Mineralic materials and Wood

Application Equipment - Suitable spray guns

Since there are plastic films of different composition and quality, preliminary tests should be done.
