Applications & Uses
- Application Guidelines
-
- Avoid Contact with Isocyanate Reactive Substances - Avoid direct contact with isocyanate reactive substances, especially alcohol such as spirit, dilutions, cleaning compounds and reaction or curing products of silane-modified polymers or silicones until the adhesive has attained full cure. This will prevent the adhesive from curing properly.
- Curing - Water spraying accelerates the curing of the adhesive. An amount of 5 % water relative to the amount of applied adhesive is suitable for most cases.
- Cleaning Information
-
- Clean tools immediately after use.
- Once cured, the material can only be removed mechanically.
- Appropriate cleaners are listed in the product properties table.
- Cleaner for Uncured Material - Körasolv® GL, Methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), Isopropyl alcohol and acetone.
- Preparation Information
-
- For some substrates the use of mechanical pretreatment and/or cleaner is necessary to achieve good adhesion
- Surface Requirements - Clean, free of grease and free of dust.
- Processing Information
-
- Suitable Substrates - Glass fibre reinforced plastic (GFRP), High pressure laminate (HPL), Expanded polystyrene (EPS), PVC-rigid Galvanized steel, Painted metal Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), Mineral wool Wood and cemented material.
- Application Method - Nozzle, Spraying (exhaust required), Airless air-combi (exhaust required), Spinning application, Roller and With notched trowel
- Product is free of Solvents.
- Low temperatures can cause a temporary increase in viscosity resulting in reduced extrusion and slower curing rates.
