Pipe Insulation, Duct Insulation and Equipment

  • All insulation finished with Canvas, glass cloth and/or brattice cloth shall have their laps adhered with CHIL-SPREDTM CP-135-2 Coating/Adhesive.
  • A finish coat of CHIL-SPRED™ CP-135-2 Coating/Adhesive shall be applied to the entire outer surface of the lagging cloth at a coverage rate of at least 1 U.S. gal./100 sq. ft. (0.41 l/m2 ) per coat for canvas and 1.25 U.S. gal./100 sq. ft. (0.51 l/m2 ) per coat for brattice cloth.
Uses
  • CHIL-SPRED™ CP-135-2 coating/adhesive coats and adheres fabrics such as canvas and lagging cloths to air conditioning equipment and ductwork as well as boilers, piping and other process equipment. It may also be used to adhere the laps of these fabrics on pipe insulation.
