- Guidelines for Use
Preparation:
- This product contains diisocyanates. Adequate training is required before industrial or professional use of this product.
- Use in a well Ventilated Area.
- Surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry and dust free.
- Once the hose and gun has been attached to the canister, open the valve fully. Check the connection points for leaks at this time.
- On first use, the canister may initially take a few seconds to spray correctly. Spray initially onto on a scrap surface to ensure the spray pattern is correct for the application. The trigger restrictor on the gun can be used to set the spray to the required width.
Application:
- Hold the gun at 90° to the surface, approximately 12 inches away and apply a uniform coat of adhesive to the required substrates.
- Apply adhesive in 4-6 inch bands overlapping each band by roughly 50%, with a double coat applied to the edges. Move at a steady pace that provides an even coat of adhesive without allowing any material to puddle. For most applications, 80-100% adhesive coverage is required for full bond strength. On porous materials, a second coat of adhesive may be necessary.
- Allow the solvents to evaporate from the adhesive. To know when the adhesive is ready to bond, it should not transfer to a gloved hand when touched and should feel dry. Bonding the substrates before the solvents have been allowed to evaporate can cause solvent entrapment resulting in bond failures.
- Bond within 5-10 minutes.
- Apply even pressure over the surface using a roller, again pay particular attention to the edges. The adhesive will bond instantly but will strengthen over time.

- Disposal Information
- Once the canister is empty of any hazardous materials and depressurised, it can be considered as scrap metal, in accordance with the national or local waste company, under code EWC 15 01 04* (empty aerosol, non-hazardous residues).
- Canisters and aerosols that are still pressurised and contain product should be disposed of in accordance with the national or local waste company under code EWC 16 05 04* (full or partially empty aerosol).
- Storage & Shelf Life
- Protect from extremes of temperature in o controlled environment between 15 and 35°C, and away from direct sunlight. Do not stand on a cold concrete floor. Low temperatures can result in irreparable separation of the adhesive.
- Stored under the correct conditions, in original. Unopened containers, the product will have a shelf life of 12 months.
