Product Applications

Applications: Ideal for water cisterns, water containment structures and processing tanks. Not intended for use in expansion joints or joints that move.

Sealing Properties:

• Provides a permanent watertight joint seal
• Maintains seal over wide temperature range
• High tack for superior substrate adhesion
• No priming necessary on clean substrates
• Bonds to concrete, metals, fiberglass, and plastics
• Flexible / workable over wide temperature range
• NSF 61 certified for use in drinking water structures

Toxicity Evaluation: ST-61 has been certified by NSF International to conform to the requirements of NSF / ANSI Standard 61 (Drinking Water System Components) Section 6. Joining and Sealing Materials.

Application & Surface Preparation Instructions:
All work surfaces should be clean, dry, free of dirt, dust, debris, oils, and other contaminants that may result in a surface that is not sound. Place exposed surface down and apply along the entire joint, being careful not to stretch the material. Cut off excess and remove blue release liner. Butt joint cut ends and knead together to complete the seal.

Limitations:

• Designed for non-moving joints
• Not intended for expansion joints
