Product Applications
  • MASTERFIX 775 is specially designed for bonding of TPO membrane to various porous and non-porous substrates in waterproofing applications.
  • MASTERFIX 775 is also used to bond rubber beadings to metal.
Application Procedure

The surface should be structurally sound, clean, dry, leveled, and free from dust, curing compounds, grease, and other loose debris.

Mix the adhesive thoroughly for at least 5 minutes so that any pigments that may have settled during storage are dispersed and the adhesive is uniform. Apply the adhesive uniformly to membrane and substrate using a 230 mm wide, 13 mm medium nap roller. An open time of 5 to 45 minutes is recommended before assembly, based on drying conditions. Allow the adhesive to dry until it does not stick to a dry finger. Avoid wrinkles when rolling the membrane onto the adhesive coated substrate.

To achieve maximum adhesion, immediately brush down the bonded portion of the membrane sheet with a soft-bristled broom or a clean dry roller applicator. Note: If the membrane is bonded to the substrate prior to the adhesive being dry, blistering will occur and will not subside over time. Any coated area that has been exposed to rain should be allowed to completely dry and then re-coated.
