Magik 3217 is a UL Classified, anti-fungal, low VOC, water-based, flexible fire-resistant vapor barrier sealant. It is designed for low, medium, and high-pressure/high-velocity metal, fiberglass, and flexible heating and air conditioning ducting systems. Magik 3217 is highly elastic and offers excellent adhesion to metal and aluminum. It functions as a tough and flexible adhesive and sealant, forming a durable seal against air leakage for both indoor and outdoor use.

MAGIK 32-17 is highly recommended in applications where fibrous glass and other type of insulations are bonded to the interior or exterior of metal duct systems. MAGIK 32-17 is ideal for sealing GI duct joints, longitudinal seams, ASJ, FRK & FSK jackets, board facings at joints, laps over staple & weld pin puncture. MAGIK 32- 17 is also ideal for sealing flexible air duct to rigid connectors. MAGIK 32-17 is highly antifungal and resistant to mold, mildew, water, extreme temperature changes and aging. MAGIK 32-17 is also resistant to oil, grease and mildly resistant to diluted alkalis and acids.

Application Procedure

The surface should be structurally sound, clean, dry, leveled and free from dust, curing compounds, grease and other loose debris.

MAGIK 32-17 is applied uniformly to clean, dry, oil-free and sounded surface, by power extrusion or brush.
