Intrafolâ„¢ 1383 is a solvent-based universal primer designed for ABS and PP substrates. It has low blocking properties and is chlorine-free. This primer is commonly used for adhesion promotion in edgebands and foils within the woodworking industry, making it an ideal choice for priming applications. It has a very low hazard statement for solvents and is a PVC-free primer that complies with the IOS MAT 066 norms.

Preparation

The surfaces to be bonded must be dry, free of grease, free of dust and free of oil.
 

Processing

Apply a thin and homogenous coat of Intrafol™ 1383 on the plastic surface and dry the applied film. Refer to the technical data table regarding the Drying time. For new materials or applications, the suitability must be confirmed by preliminary tests.
