HMC-7RC is typically used for sealing fixed window modules, door water-deflectors, windshield reveal moldings, and as a hot applied gasket. It can also be used as a temporary adhesive and assembly aid to bond lightweight materials prior to final assembly
- General Instructions
HMC-7RC can be processed with standard hot melt pumping equipment at a temperature of 121°C to 150°C (250°F to 300°F).
Clean Up: Let material cool to room temperature and remove by pulling rapidly from the substrate. Residual traces can be removed with an aliphatic solvent (mineral spirits) or a 50/50 alcohol/water solution.
