HL-5145 is a 100% solids, one-component insulating glass sealant engineered for exceptional adhesion to IG components as well as strong barrier properties. HL-5145 brings the following to the IG industry:

  • Processing

Surfaces should be dry, clean, and free from dust or grease. A cleaning agent such as Körasolv GL and/or the glass and spacer manufacturer’s recommended procedures are appropriate for surface preparation. It is important to ensure that sealant is applied to the correct dimensions required for your application. Ensure recommended application temperature is maintained at the application nozzle to prevent cold joints and poor adhesion.

  • Clean Up

Körasolv GL or common solvents such as mineral spirits or acetone.
