Uses : FLX 575 is an ideal adhesive for tufted covering with secondary backing, non-woven latex foamed backings, woven flooring, needle punch flooring, PVC and other composite flooring with textile backing on absorbent substrates which are ready for installation flooring.
Surface Preperation : The surface should be structurally sound, clean, dry, leveled and free from dust, curing compounds, grease and other loose debris. Keep container closed when not in use.
Application Procedure : Apply FLX 575 uniformly on the substrate a fine trowel (Notch A1, A2 or A3), brush or roller. Allow FLX 575 to cure for approximately 5-20 minutes before laying the floor covering. Lay in the floor covering in the wet adhesive bed, avoid air pockets and rub down carefully. The covering material must be tension-free and lay flat on the substrate, if not then weight it down. Floor coverings should be protected from exposure to direct sunlight and from penetration of moisture particularly during the setting phase. It is essential to ensure good contact between the floor covering and adhesive. Bonding over existing floor coverings should be avoided. Clean any excess adhesive with water immediately. Do not allow the adhesive to dry.
