Uses

Uses : FLX 530 soaks into porous, absorbent subfloors and forms a closed film on dense, non-absorbent subfloors. It provides a smooth levelled surface.
Surface Preparation : The surface should be structurally sound, clean, dry, leveled and free from dust, curing compounds, grease and other loose debris. Keep container closed when not in use.
Application Procedure : The substrate must be dry, clean, structurally sound, free of loose debris, grease, dust, laitance or other surface deposits. The surface should be prepared using light grit blasting to produce a lightly exposed aggregate surface. On screeds and concrete, FLX 530 shall be diluted in a 1:1 ratio with water and applied in one or two coats using a roller, depending on the absorption of the surface. On porous floors, it is recommended to apply two coats of FLX 530. To accelerate the drying process, ensure adequate ventilation. Approximate coverage is 0.20-0.30 kg/m² and 0.10-0.15 kg/m² when diluted 1:1 with water depending on the porosity of the substrates. Substrates with low absorbency require 4-6 hours for drying. Absorbent substrates require 1-2 hours for drying.
Clean-Up : Clean with warm water and soap when wet. Mineral spirit, when dry.
