It provides superior hydrolysis resistance compared to vinyl acetate homopolymers, excellent workability in mixtures, and high filler acceptance. This copolymer is commonly used as a binder in tape joint compounds, a bonding agent for plaster and concrete, and a polymer modifier for cementitious mixtures.
