Adecol® C-2140 adhesive is a high-quality adhesive made from a polyvinyl acetate homopolymer in aqueous dispersion, modified with special additives. This adhesive is known for its long open time, good fluidity, and excellent initial tack, making it ideal for use in a range of applications. It provides good performance in machinability and is perfect for micro-corrugated coupling, envelope side closure, and wood component bonding. It can be applied using transfer roll, nozzle, or manual application.

Applications & Uses

Application Instructions

Surfaces must be free of dust, grease or oil. For manual gluing, be careful to keep the brush in water after use, thus avoiding dryness and supposed lumps for the gluing area. The application must be verified for each specific case according to the following factors: Characteristics of the substrates, equipment, speed, amount of adhesive and the ambient temperature must be above 15° C.
